Man accused of killing Charlotte woman to face plea hearing in South Carolina
A man charged with killing a 22-year-old North Carolina woman will appear in court in South Carolina this week.
WBTV reported that a man accused of killing 22-year-old Logan Federico, a North Carolina woman, will face a plea hearing on Friday, November 6, in Richland County, South Carolina.
Federico was shot and killed on May 3, 2025, during an alleged armed robbery at a home on Cypress Street in Columbia, South Carolina, while visiting friends, according to WBTV.
Columbia police said the suspect, Alexander Dickey, allegedly broke into a home, stole car keys and a firearm, then entered an unlocked neighboring home where he shot Federico before fleeing.
Dickey was arrested the following day in Lexington County after reportedly breaking into another home and setting it on fire. He was later charged with Federico's death.
WBTV noted it was unclear if Dickey has entered a plea deal, and the solicitor's office was contacted for more information.
